Debunking Textbook Misconceptions

This week, we wrote questions for a class game based on what we learned this semester.  However, the textbook sometimes gets things wrong.  Here are two questions that are good based on the textbook.  But reality is different.

Respond to this post saying why the two questions don't match reality and how you could improve them.  (A is the "correct" answer).

What is NOT important to think about when deciding how technology will fit into your classroom?

A:  What you think your students will find fun and can participate in
B:  Your own view of how students learn
C:  How best to adapt teaching strategies to your students' needs
D:   How educational technology fits into your personal view of teaching and learning


When using a song for a class project, what percent of the music can you use?

A:  10% but no more than 30 seconds
B:  10% but no more than 45 seconds
C:  15% but no more than 45 seconds
D:  20% but no more than 30 seconds
